Tigo Rwanda has launched the “Tigo Month of Love” campaign today.
Until 29 February, Tigo customers will be able to share airtime and internet
data with their loved ones while also standing the chance of winning great
prizes.

In addition to subscribers receiving the full
value of whatever pack they purchase, their special someone will receive the
equivalent amount in free airtime.

Maramba said: “Tigo’s Month of Love is
another way for Tigo to express our love for our customers; not only by handing
out free airtime but gifts as well.”
To access this promotion a subscriber dials *155#,
adds the number of their loved one, then select a package. After the customer
receives the pack along with the confirmation message their loved one will
instantly receive the same amount of airtime along with a notification. In
addition, if the customer wins a prize, they will receive an SMS notification from
Tigo or a call from 0722123123 to inform them about the gift they have won and
how to claim it.
Tigo customers who participate in Tigo’s Month
of Love be able to win airtime worth Rwf 500, 100 MBs worth of internet data, dinner
for two at the romantic Bistro restaurant in Urban Boutique hotel and cinema ticket
for two at Century Cinema. Weekly winners will walk away with Samsung J1
4G-enabled smartphones.
Currently, Tigo Rwanda has over three million
customers and has invested over US $310 million from 2009 to date. Tigo
Rwanda is the only telecom to provide 4G LTE on mobile for both prepaid and
post-paid customers. Tigo Rwanda was
awarded as the ‘Most Innovative Service’ at Africa Com 2014, for international
mobile money transfers with integrated currency conversion between Tigo Rwanda
and Tigo Tanzania as well as awarded for “Best ICT Exhibitor” at the Kigali
