Meet Louis Ngabonziza, a
Digital Changemaker who improves lives of hearing impaired children and youth!
Louis is a social entrepreneur who is teaching digital literacy to his students
to help them develop the skills they need to succeed in life! The course
curriculum teaches basic word processing skills, internet research, social
media and computer maintenance, skills that will increase their chances of
gaining employment after they graduate!
Thanks to a grant provided by Tigo, Louis' students have gained access to smart phones and laptops and they have proven to be digital wiz kids! Along with the grant, Louis also gained a spot in an incubator program, run by our partner, Reach for Change. In the Incubator, Louis is being supported to develop his social innovation into a sustainable social enterprise that will scale to impact hundreds of Rwandan children and youth!
