Position: Reward Manager


JOB PURPOSE Responsible for the formulation of reward recognition and benefits strategies aligned to Tigo business needs and develop and manage related policy and procedures and systems.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Leader:
  • Implement and Lead a reliable payroll and personal administration system
  • Support his\her team in the daily tasks
  • Supply the periodic states of reporting to the group or at request of other directions
  • Anchor complient and efficient administrative processes on the HR processes
  • Responsible for having a competitive package on remunerations in place to compete on the labor market
  • Responsible for the direction on the compensation policy (both salary &allowances
  • Assist and follow the other colleagues of the HR in the preparation of the annual budgets
  • Work in close relation with Payroll Officer, to give the update of all the changes of data bound to the employees for the required deadlines
  • Implement and maintain compliant processes on pay role, employee administration.
  • Lead and develop those employees working on the HR administration and payroll.
  • Cooperate with the managers within the HR Department , find together the way forward on quality HR and connected processes
  • Contribute towards the overall development and management of the HR function in Tigo Rwanda, working collaboratively with HR colleagues.
  • Work in partnership with managers within the business contributing towards the achievement of business objectives. Gain a deep understanding of current and future business drivers and ensure changes arising from the business process re-engineering activities are reflected in the Reward structure and strategy.
  • Carry out annual reward related equality audits ensuring fairness and consistency in the operation of reward recognition and benefits strategies and related policy procedures and systems

Manager:
  • Execute the pay of the co-workers according to the policy
  • Control and steer the internal control process in your responsible area
  • Prepare contracts of employment
  • Prepare and make sign the letters of change, transfer and promotions
  • Make the periodic follow-up of the financial data with the financial department
  • Follow-up of the processes on pay and administration of the staff (included free-lancers and commissionaires)

Reward Management:
  • Analyze positions - competences  and System of Grading
  • Supply the KPI’s and key-figures to those relevant in the operation
  • Is pro-active in preparing information on reward packages at competitors and labor market
  • Is pro-active developing and innovate (new) reward- ideas to optimize retainment for talented employees.

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • University degree, commercial computing + Human resources management
  • 3 years of managerial experience in Human Resources
  • 3 years of experience in IT/HR related work
  • Ability to integrate high performance teams
